Frequently asked questions
Can I book a notary for family-law documents in Seminole & Orange Counties?
Yes. You can book directly or through your attorney’s office for prepared family-law documents, affidavits, and consents. Mobile appointments are available in Seminole & Orange Counties.
Can a notary prepare family-law forms or give legal advice?
My service is notarization of completed documents. I do not choose forms, write legal answers, or advise you on what to sign. A licensed attorney can help with those questions.
Which family-law documents need notarization?
Some affidavits, agreements, and parental consents require notarization, but requirements vary by document. Your attorney or receiving office should confirm whether a notarial certificate is needed and which type is required.
Can an attorney arrange a mobile notary for a client?
Yes. Attorneys and their staff can coordinate a client’s notary appointment, location, signers, and signing instructions with me. Your law office continues to provide all legal guidance.
Can family-law documents be notarized online in Florida?
Some prepared family-law documents may qualify for online notarization. Confirm acceptance with the receiving party, then contact me to review document and signer requirements. In-person appointments are also available.
Are evening or weekend family document notary appointments available?
Day, evening, and weekend appointments are available subject to scheduling. Please share your deadline when requesting a visit, allowing time for any court filing or other steps after notarization.
Does notarizing family-law documents include court filing?
No. Notarization does not include court filing, document approval, or legal representation. Your attorney or receiving office can explain the next steps. A notary seal does not guarantee acceptance or a legal outcome.
